為響應每年4月23日“世界閱讀日”，自2002年開始，每年文化局澳門中央圖書館聯同民政總署、教育暨青年局、澳門圖書館暨資訊管理協會舉辦一系列的圖書館周活動，推動全民閱讀文化。因為活動十分豐富，網站能有效地整理並羅列每個活動的詳細資料，並分開中英葡三語展示。網站的內容佈局會因應瀏覽器尺寸而調整，無論於桌面、平版電腦以至手機都可以清楚地閱覽。圖書館周的形象設計由本地著名的設計公司所製作，醒目的設計打破了「讀書」的刻板印象，網站的視覺設計以延伸其視覺形象為理念，將資訊性的網站包裝得有趣味而不失可讀性，散發獨特的文藝氣氛。
In support of World Book Day on 23rd April, and to promote the culture of reading in Macao, collaborative activities during ‘Macao Library Week’ have been annually undertaken since 2002 by Macao Central Library under the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Official Provisional Municipal Council of Macao, the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau and Macao Library and Information Management Association.
There are many events throughout the library week. No matter you are viewing in mobile, tablet or desktop, you can easily found out the well-organized events information in this website. The identity of the ‘Macao Library Week’ is designed by another local design company. It successfully creates a playful and unique image to the festival. The visual design on the website is aimed for reflecting this smart look and feel.
